HiJack Poker – Bad Beat Jackpot Rules

• Promotion Dates: October 6th, 2025 – 12:00 am CST, through December 31, 2025 - 11:59 pm CST
• Initial Seed: $25,000
• Progressive Growth: +$2,500 added each week - capped at $50,000
  • Added Mondays at 12:00 am CT (Sun → Mon)
• Regressive Qualifier: Qualifying hand reduces starting on December 8th, 2025 at 12:00 am
  • New qualifier will be posted each day, and may be reduced more frequently at management’s discretion.

Initial Qualifying Hands

Texas Hold’em

• Starting Qualifier: Quad Tens (TTTT) beaten by a Straight Flush or better
• Quads must come from a pocket pair
• Both hole cards must play in all hands considered for the Bad Beat. Only a Player’s best hand will be considered.
  • Example: If a player flops a Straight Flush using both hole cards but rivers a higher Straight Flush using only one hole card → Not eligible

Pot Limit Omaha (PLO)

• Starting Qualifier: Straight Flush beaten by a higher Straight Flush.
• Players must use exactly two (2) hole cards
  
  

Payout Conditions

• Jackpot triggers only when the qualifying criteria are met (See above)
• Table Prizes will be paid a % of the Jackpot based on the stakes being played. See chart below:

  • Any remaining prize money will stay eligible for the continuation of the Bad Beat promotion through the end of the promotion period.

Site Share (Equal Distribution):

• The site share will always be distributed evenly across all eligible tables, regardless of the stakes being played.
  • Example: If the jackpot is $50,000 and it is hit at a $0.10/$0.20 table, that table receives $25,000 (50%). The site share (e.g., $2,500) is then divided equally among all eligible players, without any adjustment based on stakes.

• Prize Distribution:
  • 40% → Losing Hand
  • 25% → Winning Hand
  • 15% → Table Share (divided among all other players at that table)
  • 20% → All other seated cash game players across the site at the time of the hand (share per table seated)
• Reporting Requirement:
  • Once the hand ends, an active player at the table must notify support within 10 minutes via in-app support chat or email (support@hijackpoker.com)
  • Failure to report may result in disqualification for that hand
• Player Eligibility:
  • Winners must be in good standing and fully verified
  • All applicable state & federal regulations apply (including required 1099 / W-2G forms before payout)
  • For table and site shares, players must have been seated and dealt in prior to the jackpot hand. Players waiting to post or standing up to leave will not qualify.

Additional Rules

• Any form of collusion is prohibited and may disqualify players or hands
• All reported Bad Beat hands are subject to review within 48 hours before payouts are awarded
• Management reserves the right to alter or cancel the promotion at any time, with or without notice
